Adora, a first-generation immigrant from Cape Verde, brings a distinctive perspective to her role as a Recruiting Coordinator at City Personnel. Having completed four semesters at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, she is committed to furthering her education and continuing her personal and professional growth. Adora’s career has allowed her to develop key organizational, leadership, and communication skills, which she draws upon daily in her work.
 
Her experience includes supervising teams, coordinating projects, and helping connect individuals with the right opportunities. Adora’s passion for assisting others in overcoming challenges and striving toward personal success makes her a valuable asset to our team.
 
Now a newcomer to Rhode Island, Adora is eager to explore the professional and personal opportunities the state offers while continuing to build meaningful connections in the recruiting world.

My phone (sadly).

Do you have a favorite family tradition?
Getting together on Christmas Eve to have dinner and exchange gifts.

What’s one thing you’d love to learn how to do?
Play a musical instrument — preferably the piano.

What’s one item on your bucket list that you’re determined to check off?
Travel the world.

What do you find most rewarding about your job?
Helping connect candidates with their next job. A fitting opportunity can completely change someone’s life for the better.

What’s the most valuable lesson you’ve learned since joining City Personnel?
Staying consistent is key to success.

What’s your approach to providing great customer service?
Being open-minded and kind to everyone — you never know what someone might be going through. I always try my best to answer any questions they have or connect them with someone who can.
