Things to Do in Rhode Island: Summer Edition

Rhode Island is a picturesque place that has a lot to offer! There are plenty of beaches and coastal towns and cities. Here's a list of some of the best things to do during the summer months In Rhode Island;

1.       Providence Water Fire

This unique attraction consists of volunteer fire tenders sailing down the river and lighting more than 80 floating bonfires along their way. The waterborne display is accompanied by new-age music to further perplex the gathering crowds. Check out the Water Fire schedule here.

 

2.    Hit the Beaches

The state of Rhode Island has a massive 400 miles of coastline and over 100 beaches. If you’re looking for a calm and relaxing beach, head to Third Beach in Middletown. If you’re looking for a more active beach day experience, make a trip to Easton’s beach in Newport. It’s a surf beach just under a mile long with an excellent snack bar. Here's a list of a few more beaches to explore:

3.   Indulge in Seafood

4.   Roger Williams Park Zoo
