For example, I schedule my most important tasks in the morning for when I am the most productive. By preparing your schedule like this, no matter what time of day it is, you will always have a clear idea of what tasks are the most urgent and what can wait until later. By giving yourself focused blocks of time throughout the day to tackle different tasks, you can prioritize and get all my necessary tasks done.

Just think about it – if you spend your mornings hopping from one easy task to the next, you’ll probably find yourself feeling bogged down by the afternoon.
On the other hand, if you start your day by tackling the most important tasks on your list, you’ll be amazed at how much more productive you are. Save your tedious tasks for later on in the day when you are ‘going through the motions.’
Also, it is tempting to try and pack your schedule full to the brim with tasks, especially when you are trying to advance your career or meet other important goals. However, doing so can be a recipe for disaster. If you have too many things scheduled back-to-back, you will not have any flexibility in your day to deal with unexpected tasks that may arise.
Unexpected tasks can range from sudden meetings with clients or coworkers to household chores or family responsibilities. Rather than adding too many items to your schedule, it is better to leave some open space to deal with these other commitments. This will allow you the flexibility and peace of mind needed to navigate life’s curveballs and ensure that all of your priorities get the attention they deserve.

Take Control of Your Email Inbox.
In today’s world, it’s easy to get caught up in the constant inundation of emails, texts, and other notifications. It can be challenging to keep up with everything, and often we can miss important emails because our inboxes are full of junk mail.
One way to help alleviate this issue is to unsubscribe from any mailing lists that you cannot keep up with. This will help declutter your inbox and give you more time to focus on more important emails.
Additionally, if you find yourself constantly needing to check your email throughout the day, try setting aside specific times when you send and check your emails. This way, you won’t miss anything important, and you’ll be able to focus on other tasks without constantly getting interrupted.
Also, how often do you need to go back into your email and find emails sent to you one year ago? Usually, not often, if ever. If your inbox is full of emails sent to you from five years ago, it may be time to go through and delete your old emails.
There is a simple trick to delete all your old emails with just the click of a button. Login to your Gmail account, type into the search bar, “in: inbox before:01/01/2018,” and hit enter.
Typing this into your search bar will locate all emails you received before 01/01/2018 (or whatever date you chose). To delete all these old emails, select all the emails on page 1 and click “Select all conversations that match this search.” Once selected, you can now click the trash can or archive!
Cleaning your email inbox is the most helpful way to improve your organizational skills in my opinion.
